For 87 years, since its founding in 1938 and formal registration in the State of Florida in 1941, the Polish American Club of Miami (PACOM) has proudly served as a cornerstone of Polish heritage, unity, and progress in South Florida. From its earliest members who built the foundation of our community to today’s leaders fostering growth and cultural exchange, PACOM continues to honor its legacy while looking toward the future.

Presenting the 2025-2027 Board Candidates

At the recent PACOM General Membership Meeting held on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, the Nomination and Elections Committee presented a distinguished and diverse slate of candidates, including: Chris Kruszelnicki, Wesley Kwasniak, Leszek Ladowski, Daniel Olech, Les Surowiec, Ewa Piacentile, and Lech Zalewski.

Eligibility Checklist (summary)

  • Active membership in good standing (dues paid).
  • Legal U.S. residency.
  • Permanent residence in Miami–Dade County (proof required).
  • Polish descent or by marriage (self‑declaration subject to review).
  • Attendance at ≥ 4 meetings in FY 2024–2025 (per logs).
  • No disciplinary sanctions on record.
  • Age between 21–80 years.

    This election is not only a renewal of leadership but also a reaffirmation of PACOM’s enduring mission — to strengthen cultural bonds, support community advancement, and honor the proud Polish-American heritage that has guided us since 1938.

    Your participation in the upcoming election ensures that PACOM continues to thrive as it has for generations.Following the voting process conducted among the members in attendance, candidates were formally accepted and are now poised to make meaningful contributions to PACOM’s continued growth and mission of fostering unity, opportunity, and cultural advancement within our community.

Each candidate brings unique experience and dedication to serving the Polish-American community. Candidate order is alphabetical.


Procedure of Election of Officers and Directors has been clearly established in ARTICLE IX in our newly adopted constitution, and shall take place at the Annual Meeting of the Club for a term of two (2) years.
Eligibility for Election has been clearly described in same Article IX Section 5, establishing that only members of the Club whose dues are paid and who are active members in good standing shall be eligible for election or voting.
